About *Human

Our Story

Human Chicago started by listening.

As we met with people throughout Chicago, especially young adults, we repeatedly heard the same themes: a desire for genuine relationships, meaningful conversation, and a stronger sense of purpose and belonging.

In response, the Archdiocese of Chicago partnered with local Catholics to create Human Chicago, a community built around hospitality, friendship, and exploration. We gather people from all walks of life to share food, build connections, and engage questions that matter.

Human Chicago isn't about having everything figured out. It's about creating space to grow, learn from one another, and discover together what it means to live a fully human life.
